Alanaktion.com has now become a developer resource blog, where Alex and I will be blogging about developer resources that we find during our development. I’ll also be building a section of the web site to provide resources that we build for sale and for free. I’ll be going through all of my old projects and releasing most of them as open source soon, likely hosted on SourceForge, and I’ll link to all of those from the new site too.
After a few days of working, I’ve got a good start on the Xusix mobile site. Built for the iPhone, it has a completely integrated design that can make itself look just like any other app, without manual updating, App Store logins, or any other Apple stuff. It installs right from the web browser, and will reflect new updates instantly when they are available. At the time, the app is capable of running the complete login system, and displaying Stream posts. Support for posting, profiles, and +Plus will come soon.
Xusix is finally getting finished up! I’ve been working hard to make sure all the little problems are fixed, and all the main features work.

Future updates
Alanaktion Technologies may be in it’s last days. We’re not really going away, so much as changing our name. So far it looks as if we’re going with X/A Group, at xagroup.com, but this may change. With the start of our inClass education services, we’ve decided to take a more professional approach to our company’s branding and services. Nothing is changing yet, but it may not be too long until it does.
While working on the new features for Smart Sites, we’ve decided to rebuild the site builder’s core to use optimized databases to handle user sites, rather than load several files, the site now loads all user content from a simple database setup. Smart Sites will be down for a few days while we test the new builder and migrate all existing user sites to the database.
Update: The maintenance is complete. We are still migrating inactive users’ sites to the database, but the Smart Sites builder and all active web sites are running better than ever.
Smart Sites has been around for a while without any modifications, and truthfully, it’s very unfinished. It’s been too long since it’s gotten the attention it deserves, so we’ve decided to make some significant updates in the next few weeks. We will be reinforcing the site’s security, as right now it is very insecure, and will be adding at least 20 new unique themes to the free user section. We will be updating the theme builder to work with themes designed with Network Solutions CSS, and support for CSS3 animation and styles. Image and file uploading has been a big effort for a while, but with the security issues introduced, it may or may not become a reality in the near future. We will do what we can to support adding images through various services such as Flickr and Photobucket, and work on secure methods of uploading images right to your sites. With each of these updates will come mobile web site changes, with limited support for updating sites on mobile devices.
I’ve launched a new service to compliment the recent changes in the company’s structure. Alanaktion Network Solutions covers all advanced networking and web application development for clients, while Alanaktion Technologies maintains average user services, and Xusix Group covers all social media connectivity with all of our services.
With this change, www.alanaktion.net will be partially unusable for a few days while all of the existing content is updated to integrate with the Network Solutions site. The Developer Tools are being completely rebuilt to work more easily in ways that make more sense, and are more efficient. Several new tools will be added including a reverse-hash engine and a CSS template builder.
